Hope and Faith Home for Special Children opened its doors in 2005. It was an initiative to assist the children with disability (most cases affected by Polio), who otherwise, abandoned /locked. Chained in the community or society without any treatment or rehabilitation done to them.
After partnering with friends of the late Joann Snyder Walker as the donors to drill and equip the 180m well in the year 2019, W4W has continued to support the Children’s home by ensuring they continue to enjoy quality and good health as the saying goes; Water is life, and clean water means health and Because no matter who we are or where we come from, we’re all entitled to the basic human rights of clean air to breathe, clean water to drink, and healthy land to call home.
W4W’s Board from the USA recently paid a follow-up visit to the Juja Home on 23rd May 2023 and had a great experience where they sampled the sweet RO (Reverse Osmosis) and spent quality time with the Hope and Faith Family.
We (W4W) thank God for enabling us continue with the good deeds for a worthy cause.
